What’s a Clubhouse?
San Angelo Clubhouse is one of over 320 Clubhouses around the world, all built on the same powerful idea: that community and meaningful work can be life-changing for adults living with mental illness. In the Clubhouse model, members are not patients or clients—they’re equal partners in everything we do.
Here, recovery isn’t clinical—it’s relational. Members and staff work side-by-side to run the Clubhouse together, building confidence, purpose, and a sense of belonging through shared responsibilities and genuine connection.
