Something New at San Angelo Clubhouse

By: Ami Mizell-Flint

After spending two weeks in the Fountain House Home and Garden Unit, Ruben came back excited to start something similar in San Angelo. Several of our members shared this excitement, so, with their help, Ruben has been spearheading our new gardening team! (Name to be decided soon.) They planted several types of seeds on July 19, and the yellow pear tomatoes are already starting to sprout! We are hoping to have home-grown tomatoes with our lunch sometime in late September.

It is fun to see everyone working together and watching our “babies” grow!
